As we transition from renters to owners in our current space, what does it look like to be a home for the nations?
It looks like welcoming anyone, regardless of ethnicity, class, education or country of origin to worship and grow toward Jesus with us.
It looks like bringing the church into the community to show the love of Jesus.
It looks like making room for the next generation, for college students, and for the foreigner to encounter Jesus.
It looks like being someplace where people from every tribe, nation and tongue can worship the Lord together, in unity.
It looks like home.

WHY NOW?
Over the past four years, we have been leasing our space at 3722 Clifton Ave. Several months ago, our church was presented with a decision about the future of our location: the current property owners have decided that selling the property is in their best interest, so we must either move or purchase. Since our current location gives us access to both college campuses and our community, we want to take advantage of the opportunity to purchase. We believe that owning this building will help ensure our ability to be a home for the nations, while at the same time planting us firmly in this community as a pillar of God’s love and His heart for reconciliation.
WHO IS THE BUILDING FOR?
- For our congregation to worship and continue to engage our community and college students through Sunday services, Food & Faith Fill Up, worship nights, bible studies, and many other events.
- To serve our community partners by providing a space that can be utilized by other organizations as community needs arise.
WHY DO WE NEED TO STAY HERE?
We have done extensive research with the help of commercial realtors and local landowners to search for buildings to rent or lease. There are very few in our area and even fewer that meet our space requirements. Staying at the current location is currently our most mission-oriented and cost-effective choice.
WHO IS MAKING THE DECISION?
We spent much of last year and the beginning of this year in discussion with our Building Advisory Council, which is made up of leaders of Every Nation Cincinnati who bear a specific skill set or knowledge in this field, as well as our Executive Leadership Team made up of senior leaders of our church staff. The decision to purchase the building was made after hearing the thoughts, concerns, and wisdom of this team.
WHAT IS THE TIMING OF THE BUILDING PURCHASE?
The land contract we have with the current landowners has a final purchase date of July 31, 2022. We will spend the next year praying, asking, and gathering the funds we need to purchase the building through our “Rooted: A Home for the Nations” building campaign.
WHAT IS THE COST?
We are planning to raise $500,000 during our building campaign. The majority of this amount ($470k) will go towards the purchase of the building, with any remaining funds dedicated to begin much needed building upgrades and remodeling. Some of the building upgrades include central air & heating installation and repair, bathroom remodeling, an accessible entrance to the basement level, and general repair to the exterior of the building. While we are aware that our goal of $500K will not cover all remodeling costs, we intend to use finances from this initial wave of our building campaign to begin that process.
HOW DO I CALCULATE MY TOTAL PLEDGE?
Your total pledge is a combination of your first fruits gift and your remaining recurring gift. For instance, a total pledge of $10,000 could be honored with a $1,000 first fruits gift with the remaining $9,000 honored through a $375 monthly pledge gift.
